Isn't it?About three decades ago, I had this knowing that I would teach people to fly. I thought at the time that meant in their dreams. I have had many prophetic dreams over my lifetime. This, however, was knowing it. It was not from a dream, nor from being told directly.I thought that teaching people to fly meant in their dreams. Many people do and do not fly in their dream world. Some people, however, say they never even dream. Nevertheless, because I thought that it meant in dreams, I had OBE recalls of showing others how to lift off. I also showed the intricacies of getting from one place to the next, and to avoid flying through high-tension electrical wires at all cost. This meant to come back down if necessary. I suspect, however, in divulging this that I am preaching to the choir. Token Rockers are high flyers. ;-)Okay, I did my job. Now, I am lucky to go anywhere at my age. From...

I just saw a special on Showtime, staring former Saturday Night Live performer Julia Sweeney called, Letting Go of God. She brilliantly executed the nearly two-hour one-woman show. Her revelations were thoughtful, intelligent, humorous, and deeply moving. Unless, of course, it was merely a skit or routine. Nevertheless, I found myself clapping while sitting alone watching it.As a former Roman Catholic turned Atheist, Ms. Sweeney generously shares her personal journey in touching moments as tears well in her eyes, showing the breadth of her talent. She reveals how she came to think for herself as she read scientific material, countering her dogmatic upbringing. Ms. Sweeney discusses experiences that we perceive to be real are only neurons firing. She is as convincing as the scientific journals she explains. With respect, the choice is between a god creating everything or oblivion? Wow! Tha...

Sometimes things are just what they are, whether we can accept them or not. This doesn't make others wrong, or make us have to agree. We can just go our merry ways and leave alone what we don't want to agree with or accept if we can't have direct and decent discourse.Martin Scorsese would probably have appreciated that position coming from those who never saw his film, 'The Last Temptation of Christ,' but took to the picket lines anyway. They were afraid their sensibilities were going to be offended without knowing the facts.Skeptics are in denial, who need to believe the geoglyphic art or Nazca lines of Chile's Atacama Desert in Peru, depicting spiders, birds, animals, etc., are natural formations when research shows that people made them. It is difficult for some to step out of their comfort zones. Some people refuse to believe anything beyond their limited viewpoints, or ones that are...

It is good to share. Philosophies and religions teach us this.To get all we want at any cost to anyone else, just because our egos need reinforcement through excessive materiality, however, may not be good for us in the long run. Can we argue with that? There are those who would.Whether we want to agree with asceticism (self-discipline) or not, the Universe will teach it to us using finite resources in an overpopulated world. Interestingly, those who will suffer the least because of personal riches and power through political connections, celebrity, or excessive financial motivation are those who espouse sharing until citizens of this country come to their knees. They won't be affected from their ivory towers, and may even benefit by hiring those who have subservient mentalities, willing to work for starvation wages and are unable to complain. Some say, it's for the potential voting bloc...

A fox is an animal adept at deception. An animal is a euphemism for beast. The (fox) tier, directly making the word pattern (Fox), falls beneath Number Six (6). Hum. Is this a coincidence that 'The Beast' is associated with Number Six (6)?Research did show that Christian missionaries played a part in the placement of the Latin alphabet. Christian missionaries probably cared more about developing good character than did Church hierarchy, who were more about aggrandizing themselves. [If anyone doubts this, read Irving Stone's, The Agony and the Ecstacy, a biographical novel of Michelangelo, (1961). Irving Stone printed letters written by Michelangelo to his nephew, relating the circumstances of his life as an artist under Papal rule.] Finding this connection to Christianity, however, does not endorse that religion. That said, truthfulness is always better than deceitfulness.Three numbers m...

Working on my own website to steer the few interested parties to the book, No Nonsense Numerology—THE CODE, I'm finding how easy it is to become obsolete. Fifteen years ago I made two web sites. I used GIF and JPEG images for all the buttons that I created myself and typed HTML language completely by hand. And, it was a long document. I did a pretty good job. For fifteen years ago, the two web sites were hipper than their day. That is to say, a step above Bulletin Boards. I just haven't kept up. I only recently reentered 'The Information Super Highway' from the rest stop where I was perfectly satisfied to be. But, you can't do much without being 'connected' these days. And, if it wasn't for NNN-The Code, I would have stayed happily oblivious. When I finished my new website using sophisticated and simplified software provided by the web hosting of wix.com, I looked over the other sit...

There are those who know in an instant. They can see the entire picture and concept in a twinkling of the eye. But, it stops there because it is, mostly, for their own edification. Then there are those who are willing to decelerate their own progress enough to translate what they know for others because they want to uplift all. So All can choose. The two ways of being are neither right nor wrong. Both are needed. Bouncing across the Universe from one end to the other from knowing through having learned in the most arduous manner is one way of being. Or, basking in blissful joy (nirvana) for eternity and teaching from that perspective is another. Those who choose this, however, may forfeit rich experiences. They are the Teachers, who happily stay on that rung as long as it will hold them. The trick for those who project throughout the Universe is to feel comfortable doing so, taking their jo...

I told the very talented designer that the two cover selections were like choosing between George Clooney and Sean Connery. How could I be expected to choose when both were so gorgeous? But, alas, I took my own counsel over expert advice and every other opinion.Hey! Psst! ... Not many people if any know this, but many years ago I was once in very close proximity to Mr. 007 Connery. (Unfortunately, not close enough.) But, I've never forgotten. And, he never noticed. Or, all he remembers are a strange woman's fillings beneath a gaping mouth and eyes staring up at him in a Century City elevator. I'll bet he's seen so many fillings he, could moonlight as a dentist! Vada voom! ;-) And, I've only met Mr. Clooney's aunt Rosemary at a party. She never noticed either. George was a total unknown then, so there was no need to muscle people away from her to get his phone number. In reality, that beh...

Number Four (4) in No Nonsense Numerology—THE CODE describes the choice of being (Made Victorious) over angst and animosity or feeling (Victory Doomed). Achieving the positive side of this number assures a more lighthearted spirit rather than a heavy and dark one. A perpetually heavy heart lessens our Life Force, putting us into a tailspin of negative emotions where we want to hide our heads from the world. Possibly, with drugs and booze, exacerbating the problem. When our actions toward others are honorable, our positive natures are not even in question. Pretension and self deception are not in our vocabularies. Major infractions like robbing banks are easy to avoid. Something more pernicious, for example, like publishing an entire copyrighted manuscript as one's own would never cross the mind of a truly enlightened individual. People like David Koresh the leader of the Branch Davi...

Most of us get a little anxious from time to time. Why? One reason may be that things come up in our lives that we do not quite know how to handle because of limited life experiences. Another reason may be that some situations may not go our way, making them less than satisfying. We want life to be gratifying. Current culture teaches us that from conception we must settle for nothing less than fulfilling every desire. Otherwise, we are somehow failures. That seems reasonable in a shallow materialistic society. Early in the development of our culture, those dominating others must have figured that to have society function to their benefit the populace needed good moral values that required working hard and paying taxes. Well, the working hard part never hurt anyone. Nevertheless, greed must have spurred the notion in those taking charge so they could live lavishly. Instead of earning riche...
